Air and sea access

Air access:

The island of Skiathos is the only one in the Sporades, which has an airport, the state airport of Skiathos “Alexandros Papadiamantis”, which develops between two coastal zones of the island, offering a unique breathtaking spectacle of impressive landings and take-offs, a reference for plane spotters around the world. Its location and the difficulty in landing and taking off are the reasons why the airport is ranked among the favorites of the visitors around the world and is according to PrivateFly one of the most spectacular airports in Europe as well as equally impressive with that of Saint Martin.

Ferry access:

Skiathos is connected by ferry all year long with the port of Volos and those of Skopelos & Alonnisos. There is also a ferry connection with the port of Mantoudi, in Evia, while during summer months the island is accessible from the ports of Agios Konstantinos Fthiotidas & Thessaloniki.
